Our server is co-located in Micron21′s Kilsyth data centre. Incidentally this facility will be the first data centre in Australia to be 100% powered by the sun. This solar power will be generated in our neck of the woods at Swan Hill and will be initially a 5MW solar farm. This will hopefully be online before the end of the year in line with the completion of their building expansion. Surely good reason to host locally don’t you think?

Here we are in 2014 and we are still yet to see the first turn of the sod for the foundation work for the Solar Farm. Come on Council – what are you doing?
